Want To Help Name Some Silver Line Stations?

Construction is now underway to extend Metrorail to Dulles International Airport and Loudoun County through the Tysons Corner, Reston, and Herndon areas of Fairfax County, Virginia.

Phase 1 of the Silver Line will provide service between the East Falls CHurch MetroStadium and Wiehle Avenue in Reston. Phase 2 of the line Silver Line is proposed to extend Metrorail from Reston to Herndon, Dulles International Airport, and into Loudoun County.

Blueberry Hill is a cohousing community located just 2 miles north of Tysons Corner. The community was started in 1995 and the last home was completed in 2000. The homes are not large by McMansion standards, but the 3bedroom/2.5 baths at  about 1,700 sq/ft (+ basements) is what many would consider “right-sized”. Also, the 19 homes share a “common house” with craft room, exercise area, game area and a large common kitchen where team-cooked meals happen a few times a week.

Values at the Gates of McLean in Tysons Corner Keeping Up!

Soldsense - Gates of McLean Foreclosures and short-salesThe sales activity remained high at the Gates of McLean in 2011 with prices remaining stable. With the new metro and new noise barriers the community  just keeps getting better and better.

There were 24 homes sold in 2010 and 22 homes sold in 2011. The lowest price was a 1br/1ba at $200,000. The highest price was a 3br/2ba property at $360,000.
