The 2019 spring is well on the way and the real estate market in Tysons Corner Virginia is onto another great start. January, February and March started with plenty of new listings in the Tysons Corner area (zip codes 22102 and 22182.)
The number of new listings in the three first months of 2019 exceeded both the 5 year averages and the number of listings for the same timeframes in 2018.
The number of closed sales in 2019 started below both the 2018 numbers and the 5 year average. In March the number of sales were below the 2018 sales but above the 5 year average.
So, how is the market in Tysons Corner, Mclean and Vienna? It looks to be doing about average – so, not a low inventory crisis. That being said, it is not uncommon for attractive homes to get multiple offers and sell quickly.
