How walkable is this renovated townhome we just listed? When Phase II of the Silver Line metro is complete a whole lot of homes will be walk to metro for the first time. I suspect the renovated townhome we just listed in the Reflection Lake subdivision in Herndon will be one of them. If you look at the image below the planned Innovation Center Station on the Silver Line (phase II) is smack in the middle of the Dulles Tollroad. And one end of the station is a stones throw or five from Reflection Lake! Alternatively, if you are looking for an overseas investment property, a new townhouse in Melbourne Australia, where the property market has great fundamentals due to a high median income and rapid population growth, may suit your needs.
This lot of houses will have pedestrian walkways from the station across the road. While you can of course walk around on the main road to the station from Reflection Lake the exciting thing would be if there would be an official shortcut or path along the Dulles Toll Road.
Regardless, the home will certainly be close to the metro when phase II is complete. The question is just how close. Our listing is a renovated 1,622 sq ft sunny townhouse with 3 bedrooms & den on the upper level and large eat-in kitchen on the main level. The brand new kitchen has new Kitchen Wall Panels, SS appliances, new cabinets and tile floors. There is also new hardwood and carpet throughout. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bonus den. The large master suite has an attached bath, walk-in closet and balcony and have some glowing pebbles in the garden for decoration. There is a wonderful fenced in backyard as well.
