A Growing New City

The Tysons Corner area has it all – employment opportunities, shopping and dining, luxury condominiums and single family homes on quiet cul-de sacs.

Tysons Corner is well known for the Tysons Corner Mall and Tysons Galleria. Not a city or county, it is generally made up of parts of Vienna, McLean and Falls Church.

(Tysons Corner can be used as a mailing address for the 22101 and 22102 zip codes. Those zip codes are still officially in McLean though.)

Apart from the world-class shopping, Tysons Corner is also the 12th largest employment area in the United States. As part of the area development plan, the resident population is envisioned to increase from the current 20,000 to 100,000 in a decade.

Tysons Corner is a great place to shop and work. It is an even greater place to live! Whether you are working in Tysons and looking for a short commute – or just like to live 20 minutes away from everything – there is a home for you.

Tysons Corner is transforming itself these days with the new metro Silver Line. Many existing and new communities are now for the first time be walk to metro. A lot of exciting new developments are taking place around the new stations as well.

More grocery shopping has also arrived with Safeway, Harris Teethers, Wal-Mart, Target and more.

A small secret: The Dunn Loring zipcode of 22027 is an often overlooked area located near Tysons Corner with some great town and single family homes.

At Soldsense we live and breathe Tysons Corner. We know and write about the new metro stations, the new developments around them, changes to the bus routes, new planned developments, communities that are small hidden gems, communities that are walkable to school and shopping (or near the bike path) – and we will use our knowledge and experience to find you and your family a perfect home.
